As for basic rules, all staff members are required to queue for having their body temperatures measured and disinfecting their hands before entering their workplaces. All of them are asked to wear face coverings at all times while in the workplace.

Security guard will not allow anyone who shows Covid-19 infection symptoms (cough, fever and shortness of breath) enter the workplace, and immediately report the cases to their employers.

Mrs Tran Thi Hai Le, the Head of the Quality Office of the Daiwa Vietnam Company located in the Hoa Khanh Industrial Park, said plastic partition screens have been installed in the workplace canteen in an attempt to reduce the risk of spreading the virus.

In a similar vein, workers of the Mabuchi Motor Da Nang Company operating in the Hoa Khanh Industrial Park Women are separated by plastic dividers while they are in their workplace canteen.

Similarly, many companies operating in the Hoa Cam Industrial Park and the Tho Quang Seafood Services Industrial Park have set up partitions in their workplace canteens and offices in order to prevent the spread of the virus in workplace.

In addition, these companies have paid special attention to cleaning their workplaces with a focus on increasing the frequency of cleaning commonly-touched surfaces such as desks and tables in offices, and other office objects with disinfectant.

Also, importance has been attached to staggering meal times to minimise the number of people dining inside at one time and keep people at least one metre apart, as well as encouraging them not to talk during the meal breaks.

Head of the Authority of Da Nang’s Hi-Tech Park and Industrial Zones Pham Truong Son said that 4 Covid-19 task teams have been set up. These teams will conduct checks and monitoring of adoption of the recommended infection control and prevention measures for Covid-19 in companies in IPs while keeping on production in the new normal after the outbreak has been effectively brought under control in Da Nang.
