Over 20 pairs of passenger trains to be put into service over forthcoming Tet Festival 2021
The Sai Gon Railway Transport JSC has recently planned to operate more than 20 pairs of trains travelling on North-South route in a bid to meet the growing travel demand of residents and visitors over the upcoming Tet Festival 2021.

As scheduled, the trains will be put into service from 30 January 2021 and 23 February 2021 (from the 18th day of the 12th lunar month to the 12th day of the 1st lunar month).
In particular, 6 pairs of trains will run daily on the Ha Noi-Ho Chi Minh City route, whilst a pair of train SE21/22 will travel daily between Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City.
In addition, more pairs of trains travelling on North-South route will operate before and after Tet.
The sales of tickets for Lunar New Year 2021 will start from early October, the Sai Gon Railway Transport JSC said.
