The city's efforts to ensure safety of tourism staff and visitors in the new normal
The Da Nang Department of Tourism has introduced some measures to ensure the ultimate safety of its staff and visitors as all tourism activities citywide have been resumed after coronavirus restrictions were lifted in Da Nang on 25 September. Da Nang is adapting to the new normal after the Covid-19 outbreak has been successfully contained in the city.
Nevertheless, measures such as wearing face masks and observing strict hygiene standards remain in place in tourist sites in Da Nang in a bid to ensure a safe and friendly tourism environment.
Also, tourism marketing campaigns will be conducted in localities nationwide in order to attract more domestic visitors to the city. A focus will be on inviting famous travel bloggers, plus famtrip and presstrip delegations, nationwide to Da Nang, to survey and write articles about Da Nang’s attractions and its tourism products.
Importance will be attached to coordinating with tourism service providers across Da Nang to renew its tourism products to satisfy their customers’ demands.
Tourist sites, accommodation establishments, and tourism businesses have signed commitments with the Department to ensure good practices of the city government-recommended infection prevention and control measures to protect their staff and guests.
