Vietnam Airlines to increase flights between Da Nang and other destinations nationwide
The national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines has announced that it will increase the frequency of flights connecting Da Nang and the Vietnamese big cities of Ha Noi and HCM City in a bid to serve increasing travel demand of people as the coronavirus outbreak has effectively been brought under control in Central Viet Nam.

Starting from 16 September until the end of the month, its daily round trips from Ha Noi to Da Nang will increase to four a day and from HCM City to five.
In addition, the carrier has planned to increase the frequency of other domestic flights.
Accordingly, for the Ha Noi-Vinh route, the airline will add two flights a week in September and five a week in October, raising the total flights to 9 and 14 per week in the two months, respectively.
Also, there will be nine flights per week on the Ha Noi-Quy Nhon route, raising the total to 15.
With regard to the Ha Noi-Nha Trang route, the number of flights per week will rise by 16, bringing the total to 26.
Four more flights a week will be added on the Ha Noi-Da Lat and Ha Noi-Pleiku routes, raising the total to 18 and 11, respectively.
As for the Ha Noi-Tuy Hoa route, Vietnam Airlines will flexibly adjust its flight schedules based on its passengers’ real travel demand.
In early September, the national flag carrier resumed domestic flights on the routes of Ha Noi-Chu Lai, Ha Noi-Tuy Hoa, Vinh-Buon Ma Thuot, Hai Phong-Dien Bien, Vinh-Da Lat and Hue-Da Lat.
Vietnam Airlines has planned to resume international services to Japan from 18 September.
In detail, Tokyo-bound flights will depart from Ha Noi at 11.45pm on 18, 25, 30 September and leave HCM City at 0am on 30 September, using Boeing 787 - the largest wide-body and most modern aircraft of the carrier.
Flight schedules may be adjusted based on the real situations of the pandemic, Vietnam Airlines has warned.
