Seventeen businesses operating in Da Nang have been named among the top 1,000 corporate taxpayers (V1000) in Viet Nam to watch in 2019, according to a list compiled by the General Department of Taxation.

Da Nang’s honoured businesses are TERRA JSC, FPT City Da Nang Joint Stock Corporation, Silver Shores Investment Development Co., Ltd, Central Power Corporation (EVNCPC), Ba Na Cable Car Service JSC, Dat Xanh Mien Trung JSC, Da Nang International Terminal Investment and Operation JSC (AHT), Crown Da Nang Beverage Packaging Co., Da Nang Rubber JSC (DRC), Sai Gon – Da Nang Investment Corporation (SDN), Da Nang - Mien Trung Investment JSC, Da Nang Port JSC, Da Nang Water Supply JSC, Da Nang International Terminal Services JSC (AHTS), Mabuchi Motor Da Nang Co., Ltd., Hoa Phat Steel Pipe Co., Ltd., and Petrolimex Da Nang

According to the General Department of Taxation, the total amount contributed by the 1,000 businesses accounted for 61.5% of the total corporate income tax.

The total value was not disclosed but it was 18.1 % increase compared to 2018’s figure.

The Military-run Viettel, Viet Nam’s largest telecommunications company, has dominated the top 1,000 ranking list in 2019. Coming next, Vietcombank and Agribank has ranked in second and third place, respectively.

This is the fourth year the tax authority have published the V1000 biggest taxpayers on the basis of their tax contribution.
