Till date, the Da Nang Software Park based in Thach Thang Ward, Hai Chau District has been fully occupied, currently housing a total of 75 IT companies, including 23 FDI firms.
Likewise, the 1st stage of the dedicated Da Nang IT Park in Hoa Lien Commune, Hoa Vang District was put into operation in March 2019.
Given the completed necessary investment procedures, work is slated to start on the Da Nang Software Park No 2A in Thuan Phuoc Ward, Hai Chau District, in the coming time.
The municipal government has also given the green light to the expansion of the existing Da Nang Software Park on an area of 32,895m2 in a residential area south of the Cam Le Bridge in Cam Le District.
This is one of the key projects for the city’s investment attraction strategies over the 2020 – 2025 period.

Besides, the ongoing landmark smart city building project now also creates a foundation for the IT industry to thrive, hereby serving the IT development strategies associated with the city’s digital economy strategy.
Since the start of this year, despite the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the city’s life, IT investment promotion programmes have been carried out effectively, with the intention of attracting potential large domestic and foreign IT firms.
From 2021 until 2025, Da Nang will encourage domestic and foreign IT and telecom businesses to put money into building facilities for software production, digital content and other IT services.
Given its high-qualified IT employees from both home and aboard, the arrival of internationally-renowned IT and software brands and the deployment of key IT projects, Da Nang's IT industry is highly expected to play a key driver for its sustainable growth.
