The Da Nang Investment Promotion Agency entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the LG Vehicle Component Solutions Development Centre Vietnam under the Hai Phong-based LG Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd., on Tuesday in Da Nang.

At the signing ceremony

South Korean Consul General in Da Nang Ahn Min-sik, Da Nang People’s Committee Chairman Huynh Duc Tho, and municipal People’s Committee Vice Chairman Ho Ky Minh witnessed the signing ceremony for the agreement between the Da Nang agency and LG Electronics Vietnam.

Within this memorandum, the LG Vehicle Component Solutions Development Centre Vietnam will offer training courses and job opportunities for IT students in universities and junior colleges across Da Nang.

Also, the centre will encourage its member companies, research and development centres, and auxiliary manufacturers under the South Korea-headquartered LG Electronics, Inc., to seek investment opportunities in Da Nang.

Meanwhile, the Da Nang Investment Promotion Agency will give a helping hand to the LG Vehicle Component Solutions Development Centre Vietnam to establish an IT research and development centre in the city.

As part of its development strategy in Viet Nam, the LG Electronics, Inc., considers Da Nang as a suitable destination for the establishment of its own IT Research and Development Centre in the future.
