Work started today, 10 October, on the Da Nang Software Park No 2, which facades onto Nhu Nguyet Street, Thuan Phuoc Ward, Hai Chau District.

The new development is one of Da Nang's key projects highly promised to drive the development of the Da Nang software industry to ‘fly high and far’, hereby making the information technology (IT) industry play the key driver of Da Nang's growth in the time to come.

Developed by Da Nang Management Board of the Industrial and Civil Engineering Construction and Investment Projects, Da Nang government-funded 800 billion VND project covers a total area of more than 28,500m².

The new development will comprise office building blocks covering a with a total gross internal floor area of more than 71,000m².

In addition, the project will be designed with modern yards, internal traffic, greenery landscape, lawns and such other synchronous technical infrastructure systems as water supply and drainage, and lighting. 

The project is scheduled to be implemented within 690 days starting from the signature date of the construction contract.

Once fully completed, the Software Park No 2 is expected to accommodate a total of about 6,000 employees.
