Three companies based in Da Nang have been hailed as some of best national brands in the country after being named in Viet Nam's top 124 list with a combined total of 283 products in Viet Nam's National Brands Awards of 2020.

Da Nang honourees are the Hoa Tho Textiles and Garments Company, the Danapha Pharmaceutical JSC, and the Da Nang Rubber Company.

The honouring ceremony was hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade at the Ha Noi Opera House on 25 November.

Among this year's honourees, 17 enterprises had their products honoured as Viet Nam National Brands for the seventh consecutive time.

‘Viet Nam's National Brands, launched in 2003, is the Vietnamese Government’s unique and long-term trade promotion programme which aims to introduce and promote the prestigious and quality product brands of the country.

The programme significantly contributes to increasing the awareness of the business community about the importance of brands in increasing added value for products as well as corporate value, through which, their competitiveness would be enhanced.
