Some new resettlement areas to be built in Da Nang
Da Nang government has approved to build some new resettlement areas for families affected by infrastructure development projects in the city.
In detail, a 227 billion VND resettlement area will be built for families affected by the Da Nang University Village project which comprises of some parts of Da Nang’s Hoa Quy Ward and neighbouring Quang Nam Province’s Dien Ngoc Ward.
Over 225.9 billion VND funding from Da Nang government will go to construct a resettlement area for displaced families affected by the construction of the ring road linking Hoa Phuoc with Hoa Khuong communes in Hoa Vang District.
Both the resettlement area projects are expected to be carried out during the 2020-2023 period.
Additionally, the Da Nang Administration will use land in Cam Le District’s Hoa Tho Tay Ward to build a resettlement area at a cost of 143.8 billion VND for families affected the projects of a ring road linking Hoa Tho Tay Ward with the Phong Bac resettlement area, the riverside Tuyen Son-Tuy Loan route, an internal traffic route, a west ring road, the Cam Le Industrial Cluster, and the 2nd stage of the Hoa Cam Industrial Park.
Also, Da Nang government will provide 70.7 billion VND of funding for constructing a resettlement area for families affected by the Hoa Ninh Industrial Park project. The construction of this resettlement area is scheduled to be implemented between 2021 and 2025.
