On 1 January, about 1,700 visitors came to the Marble Mountains Tourist Area, one of Da Nang’s most popular attractions.

This was the first day the Marble Mountains Tourist Area, along with museums and relic sites across Da Nang to apply the admission fee waiver, which is valid from 1 January to 31 December 2021.

The move aims to restore traveller confidence, stimulate travel demand for the rebound and revitalisation of the domestic tourist market amidst Da Nang tourism sector is bearing the brunt of the second coronavirus wave which started raging in late July.

The majority of the first visitors to the Marble Mountains Tourist Area on New Year's Day are independent holiday makers and family-based groups

The visitors showed their eagerness to enjoy free admission whilst being served well by enthusiastic and polite staff at this popular attraction in Da Nang.
