36 billion VND for Da Nang information technology projects in 2021
Da Nang government has approved a large number of programmes and projects on IT applications and development across the city for the rest of this year with a combined total of 36 billion VND.
As for municipal departments, the Department of Information and Communications will develop 22 projects totalling more than 20 billion VND, whilst the Department of Industry and Trade with three projects valued at 950 million VND in total, the Department of Justice with three projects worth 1 billion VND, the Department of Culture and Sports with one project at 50 million VND, the Department of Finance with one project at 700 million VND, the Department of Home Affairs with six projects at 480 million VND in total, the Department of Tourism with one project at 50 million VND, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development with two projects totalling 500 million VND, the Department of Construction with two projects worth a sum of 450 million VND, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment with two projects at 850 million VND, the Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs with one project at 680 million VND, the Department of Transport with two projects at 640 million VND, the Police Department with one project valued at 1 billion VND.
As for other functional municipal-level organisations, the district-level governments will deploy 14 projects at 7.4 billion VND, the Investment Promotion Agency with one project at 150 million VND, the Cooperative Union with one project at 50 million VND, the police with one project at 1 billion VND, the Management Board of the High-Tech Park and Industrial Zones with one project at 200 million VND, the Union of Science and Technology Associations with two projects at 170 million VND.
The municipal government asked the Department of Information and Communications to preside over the establishment of a council evaluating the content and implementation cost of the above-mentioned programmes and projects (not exceeding the capital allocations by the city budget).
