VAG will increase the frequency of flights to 15 destinations across Viet Nam, including such big cities and tourist spots as HCM City, Ha Noi, Da Nang, Quy Nhon, Da Lat, Cam Ranh, and Phu Quoc.

Noticeably, Vietnam Airlines will add flights to Hai Phong, Vinh, Thanh Hoa, Da Nang Cam Ranh, Da Lat, Buon Ma Thuot, and Phu Quoc. During peak times, there will be 14 flights a week or even two to four flights a day on routes between Thanh Hoa, Hai Phong, and Da Lat; the Vinh- Hai Phong route, the Da Nang- Cam Ranh route; and the Hai Phong - Da Nang route, and more. An additional 280 - 400 flights a week, equivalent to a total of 56,000 - 80,000 seats, will be added on domestic routes.

Also, six to 14 flights a week will be operated by the national flag carrier on routes between Hai Phong, Da Lat, Vinh, Da Nang, and Phu Quoc, and between Hai Phong and Buon Ma Thuot.

Likewise, Pacific Airlines will operate four more flights each day on the Ha Noi - HCM City route, while two more flights per day will run on routes connecting HCM City to Cam Ranh, Phu Quoc, Quy Nhon, Chu Lai, Vinh, and Thanh Hoa.

In particular, two flights each day on the Ha Noi-Da Nang route will be resumed.

In addition to the increased frequency of domestic flight numbers, VAG is offering one-way fares of just 90,000 VND (3.90 US$), excluding taxes and fees, to ticket purchases made between 25 and 28 March.

Of special note, Vietnam Airlines is also launching “combos” of flight and hotel tickets to nationwide Vinpearl luxury resorts for three days and two nights at a cost of only 2.44 million VND (106 US4) per person.

VAG has been strictly implemented compulsory safety measures against COVID-19 such as asking passengers to make medical declarations, checking their body temperature before their boarding planes, and providing them with hand sanitizer and antibacterial hand towels, and disinfecting aircraft after each flight, at the end of the day in a bid to ensure the highest level of safety for passengers.
