Work commenced on the FPT Plaza 2 luxury apartment block in the Da Nang FPT Technological Urban Area (FPT City Da Nang) in Hoa Hai Ward, Ngu Hanh Son District. Amongst the attendees at the groundbreaking ceremony was Da Nang Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Van Quang along with representatives from the city authorities.

Municipal People's Committee Vice Chairman Le Quang Nam commended the FPT Plaza 2 project’s developer, the FPT City Da Nang Joint Stock Company under Vietnamese ‘tech giant’ FPT Corporation, for its efforts to realise the municipal administration’s goals of building Da Nang into a smart city of high technology, IT and innovative startups, thus creating a foundation to promote the growth of new industries, especially digital economy, society and government.

About 1,000 billion VND, 25-storey-plus- one- basement FPT Plaza 2 project, with a total gross floor area of nearly 80,000 m², will provide about 700 luxury apartments boasting full high standard amenities to be able to accommodate 1,900 people.

With its construction duration of about 18 months, FPT Plaza 2 is part of the Company’s plan to develop nearly 4,000 apartment units targeting a combined total of 10,000 employees working at the Da Nang FPT Technological Urban Area and residents from nearby areas.

FPT City Da Nang is one of the important projects that FPT Corporation is developing in Da Nang. Designed by the U.S.- based urban planning firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM), it is built at international standards, applying a smart infrastructure system and solutions in information technology, telecom, energy-saving and green technologies, and featuring commercial and financial centers, offices, hotels, entertainment and sports complexes, clinics, and a luxury residential area.
