Due to the influence of COVID-19, the quality of human resources serving in Viet Nam's service sector significantly declined, and that fact prompted the establishment of IBH Academy -Furama Resort Danang.

The Academy specialises in providing highly professional training and consulting programmes meeting international quality stardards for tertiary students, partners, clients in the tourism industry as well as businesses active in other industries.

IBH Training Academy is highly committed to providing excellent training programs, specially well designed for corporate and individual client, along with offering  consultancy and providing effective human resource management solutions.

The Academy and many other Da Nang-based tourism and service companies signed a mutual cooperation agreement on offering training for students from the Da Nang FPT University late last year.

More recently, IBH Academy – Furama Resort Danang, organised a training course on the Hospitality Introduction and Wine Knowledge & Serving for FPT students. Under the guidance of Mr Edwin van Egmond – Food and Beverage Manager of Furama Resort Danang, the students have in-depth knowledge of history, process, and classification of wines.

The whole program is 100% trained in English to help students adapt and improve their foreign language skills as well as specialised vocabulary to be more professional in the hospitality industry.

Here, FPT students were instructed and practiced how to open and serve wine professionally, proficiently and properly

Also, the Academy has provided training programmes for the resort’s trainees, and offered skills on communication standards and professional service style for members of Sovico Group, Phu Long Real Estate Joint Stock Company, VietJet Air , Ariyana Smart Condotel Nha Trang and the Da Nang Hotels’ Association.
