The above-mentioned figures show that there have been a growing number of taxpayers who are increasingly interested in using e-tax declaration services.
Pham Quoc, a resident in Thanh Khe District said that he had registered to file personal tax returns online Quoc hailed the e-filling of tax returns for many benefits, including prompt processing, better accuracy, convenience, confidentiality, accessibility to past data, proof of receipt, ease of use and electronic banking.
“No time and place constraint in filing returns online. E-filing facility is available 24/7, and you can file anytime, anywhere at your convenience. E-filing is friendly and the detailed instructions make it easy even for individuals not very conversant with the internet. Director of the Chau Da Company Limited based in Hoa Cam Industrial Park, Cam Le District, To Tan Trung Dung said that the company’s employees have already got tax codes. The company, in the coming time, will work with local tax services to strengthen publicity on the advantages of personal e-tax declaration services and further promote digital transformation in enterprises.
Deputy Director of the Da Nang Tax Department of Luu Duc Sau, the IT application is promoted in tax declaration and payment services targeting both taxpayers at the individual and group levels.
Previously, individual taxpayers with personal property rentals or those acting as lottery and insurance agents, and multi-level sales had to go to the tax offices to submit their tax declaration forms or send then by e-mail. Then, the taxpayer was required to be present at a commercial bank, or the State Treasury offices to pay the money, which takes a lot of time and expenses. Therefore, the current use of e -tax return makes it easy for everyone to do so with an internet-connected device.
For the tax industry as a whole, electronic applications have helped save a lot of management costs and human labour, thus contributing to modernising the tax collection management, ensuing transparency, and minimising direct contact between tax staff and taxpayers.
