In the first two months of 2021, 948 billion VND in funding from Viet Nam's national government provided for Da Nang to carry out its projects, fulfilling 13.1% of this year’s target, up 131.6% over the same period last year, the Da Nang General Statistics Office said.

Many of them are key projects which are expected to drive the city’s growth in the coming time.

Till date, 5,119 billion VND in funding from national government has already spent on the deployment of the Da Nang Sustainable City Development Project (SCDP), reaching 62.12% of the project’s total investment capital, whilst 2,955 billion VND (33.42%) for the Da Nang Hi-Tech Park, more than 342 billion VND (23.66%) for project of improving the water environment in the eastern part of Son Tra District, 569.98 billion VND (48.70%) for the Hoa Lien Water Plant, 507 billion VND (35.53%) for a project for improving transport infrastructure in Da Nang, and 80 billion VND (10.01%) for the first stage of the Da Nang Software Park No 2.
