SE5/6 passenger trains to resume operation with great deals on their fares from 4 March

The Ha Noi Railway Transport JSC announced on Monday that it would continue to daily operate a pair of SE5/6 passenger trains between Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) starting from 4 March in a bid to meet growing travel demand from passengers as COVID-19 has been brought under control in Viet Nam.

The SE5 train will depart from Ha Noi at 3.20pm and arrive in Vinh at 9.36pm, Da Nang at 8.27am, Nha Trang at 8.20pm and HCMC at 4.51am.

Meanwhile, SE6 will resume its operation from 6 March. The train will leave HCMC at 3.20pm and stop at Nha Trang at 11.02pm, Da Nang at 10.10am, Vinh at 9.33pm and Ha Noi at 4.35am.

Regarding the fare policy, passengers will have their ticket prices reduced by 7% as travelling on any route of between 490m and 680km, 12% on any route of between 680km and less than 1,000km, and 15% on any route of more than 1,000km.

Previously, the Viet Nam Railway Corporation had announced that it daily operated 2 pairs of SE3/4 and SE7/8 passenger trains on the Thong Nhat (North-South) route starting from early March.
