16 passenger transport businesses allowed to resume operations
Till date, 16 Da Nang-based businesses which specialise in passenger transport services offered by taxies and contract vehicles with under nine seats have been permitted to resume their operation following the signing of written commitments to strictly complying with compulsory COVID-19 prevention and control measures. All of them have been confirmed meeting all requirements for re-operation.
The eligible passenger transport service providers are Phu Hoang Services and Transportation JSC (Tien Sa Taxi), Mai Linh Da Nang Co.,Ltd, Mai Linh Hai Van JSC; Da Nang branch of Sun Taxi JSC in Da Nang (Datranco), Da Nang branch of Thuan Phuoc Phat JSC (Da Nang Taxi), Da Nang Airport Services JSC (Masco), Da Nang Airport Services JSC (Air Taxi - Masco), Cung Kinh Doanh Cooperation, An Phat Khanh EMT Da Nang Cooperative, Kim Long Cooperative, Da Nang branch of AHP Transport Cooperative, Hop Nhat Motor Transport Cooperative, Minh Hung Transport Service Cooperative, 27-7 Transport Service Cooperative, Long Hien Tourism and Transport Co., Ltd., Vu Ngoc Co., Ltd. and Da Nang branch of the Lotte Rent-A-Car Vina Co., Ltd.
The municipal Department of Transport is still calling on other passenger transport businesses across the city to make commitments to strictly complying with compulsory COVID-19 prevention and control regulations mandated by the ministries of Health and Transport to seek permissions for their re-operations.
In detail, drivers employed by businesses must test negative for the coronavirus for the first time, make daily electronic health declarations and use the Bluezone app when operating. They shall also refuse to serve if customers fail to comply with the city's COVID-19 rules.
In particular, vehicles must carry less than half of their designed capacity.
Also, trip history and basic information on passengers must be submitted to competent agencies to serve tracing and testing when necessary.
Application software suppliers are recommended to offer accounts to drivers who have tested negative for the virus, and add the feature of displaying their test results to passengers.
