As for exception cases, specialised vehicles used for task forces, including transporting infected patients and people who complete their mandatory quarantine periods, workers and experts for businesses operating at local industrial parks are still allowed to operate as normal.
In particular, passenger transport vehicles hailing from other nationwide localities are prohibited from picking up or dropping off their passengers in Da Nang on their journeys, except for some urgent cases, serving pandemic prevention missions for instance.
Meanwhile, vehicles travelling on route to coronavirus-free localities are still allowed to maintain their operation as normal. However, to be eligible to run on roads, they cannot carry more than half of their designed capacity, and must carry a maximum of 20 passengers onboard.
In a similar move, fixed-route, contract, four-wheeled electric vehicles, tourist coaches, taxies, and shuttle buses carrying workers in the city are allowed to operate. However, they cannot fill more than half of available seats, whilst the total number of passengers on each trip must not be more than 20.
Of special note, all the road passenger transport vehicles are required to strictly follow mandatory safety measures against COVID-19.

In addition, they are required to wear face coverings, limit chatting with others, and the intake of foods when using the public transport services.
All vehicles are also required to be disinfected before and after their journeys.
Inspectors from the municipal Department of Transport are intensifying their patrols and checks to detected and strictly handle any acts going against the aforementioned rules.
