As per request by the recent Da Nang government, the municipal Department of Transport suspended all passenger transportation services both on rivers and the Da Nang Bay from Saturday until further notice.

Suspension of inland waterway passenger transport services started from Saturday

The municipal Inland Waterway Management Authority and other relevant local agencies are required to promptly inform all passenger transport service providers of the new ban, and get their staff members to be on duty at wharves around the clock so as to prohibit any ships from departing from wharves without a permit.
