The new solution named the eTicket-Da Nang app aims to manage entries and exits at all wet markets across the city. Simply put, checks are conducted through smart phones/ tablet devices by scanning the QR codes for confirmation. It will support the city’efforts in contact tracing if postive cases of COVID-19 are reported in any markets in the city.
The eTicket-Da Nang app will be introduced in the 4 traditional markets namely: Han, Con, Dong Da and Hoa Cuong wholesale on a trial basis from May 24.
A trial period will only allow residents in the 5 wards in Hai Chau District, namely Hai Chau 1, Hai Chau 2, Thanh Binh, Thuan Phuoc, Hoa Cuong Nam to use the eTicket-Da Nang app for their entry to the four above-mentioned wet markets.
People in the remaining part of the city will still use paper entry cards to the five markets for grocery shopping until further notice.
