Food and drink service providers in Da Nang allowed to operate but only for takeaways and deliveries from midday today
The Da Nang government announced new citywide COVID -19 restrictions in food and drink services on Thursday evening in a bid to prevent the further spread of the virus.
Table service will be banned, but food and drink service providers in the city will be allowed to operate, but only to offer their takeaway and delivery services starting from midday today, May 7.
The announcement came after Da Nang had recorded six more suspected COVID-19 cases.
Owners of food and drink stores, food delivers, and takeaway customers, must strictly follow the city's control measures, including wearing face masks and keeping a safe distance from others.
Any service providers who break the city’s new restriction rules, will be forced to shut down.
