Han River Port to be upgraded to a tourist wharf
The Da Nang Department of Transport has announced that the municipal government has approved Han River Yacht Company’s proposal to build new river cruise ships and upgrade river piers at the Han Riverside development. In addition, the green light has been given to an investment plan for the development of inland waterway passenger services to 2025.

The Department of Transport will work with the Department of Tourist and other relevant agencies to outline proposals under consideration for making changes to the approved investment plan in order to match the real situation.
These departments will collect proposals for developing new types of water transport, including floating restaurants from water transport operators in the city. A report about their proposals will be presented to the municipal government in the second quarter of 2022 for consideration.
The Department of Transport will notify and guide Han River Yacht Company to carry out its projects following the government’s approval for their detailed planning.
The Management Board for the Da Nang Priority Infrastructure Investment Projects will take responsible for conducting surveys and creating a plan for upgrading Han River Port to a tourist whaft in line with Da Nang government’s Decision No. 4858/QD-UBND dated 14 December, 2020.
