The system boasts the best leachate odour treatment technology in Viet Nam, ensuring that treated water discharged into the environment will meet the prescribed standards.

In detail, the project has a daily treatment capacity of 1,050m3 using the anaerobic biological treatment technology in combination with anoxic, aerobic MBBR, MBR and physical and chemical treatment methods conducted by the SEEN Technologies Corporation.

The project aims to help complete the collection and thorough treatment of the generated leachate reserves during the extended operation of the Khanh Son landfill, thus improving the environment, and enhancing the life quality of local residents and this site’s landscape.

On this occasion, leaders of the municipal Department of Natural Resources and the Environment and the Lien Chieu District People's Committee and the project’s developers attended a tree planting ceremony held at the leachate treatment system site.

The SEEN Technologies Corporation also donated VND50 million to residents living in difficult circumstances in Hoa Khanh Nam Ward.
