Receiving large orders

Such goods as meat, fish, eggs, root, tuber and leaf vegetables, seasonings and dried goods for sale at the 30 ‘mobile markets’ were well stored in refrigerated containers of 20 feet or 40 feet.

As recorded at many sales points, the number of orders was quite high. Right from 8:00am on August 28, there were quite many leaders of the neighborhood groups being present at a mobile sales point set up at the Hoa An Market in the namesake ward, Cam Le District to do shopping for local residents. Reportedly, from 7:30am - 8:30am, this site received 70 orders.

Similarly, a mobile sales point at 193 Ha Huy Tap, Hoa Khe Ward, Thanh Khe District also received about 100 orders during 2 hours of opening.

A representative of this mobile sales point said that the leaders of the residential groups could take the portable pachages of goods away after the payment. But regarding large ones, the police force delivered them directly to the residential groups.

Locals were very excited because the prices of the items on sale at these site were very reasonable” , said Duyen.

“This is the right time to deploy such highly practical mobile sales points amid the fact that goods on display at citywide supermarkets are often out of stock, or offered at high prices. Organising the mobile sales point with prices kept stablisied makes locals feel secure and be in great support for the municipal government’s decisions and policies the pandemic containment”, said Mr.Thai Ba Loc, Head of the Executive Board of the Xuan Hoa A residential zone in Hoa Khe Ward, Thanh Khe District.

According to Major Tran Xuan Vinh from the Drug Prevention Police Division under the Da Nang Police Department cum leader in charge of goods collection in front of Thanh Nien (Youth) Park in Khue Trung Ward, Cam Le District, foodstuff offered by the mobile sales points completely met the food safety and hygiene standards, and especially their prices were lower than those at wet markets and supermarkets.
