Da Nang tightens management of QR code market entry cards
As per request of the Da Nang government, shoppers coming to all traditional markets across the city must use QR Code entry cards for the admission into these sites. The use of such cards is very highly effective in aiding epidemiological investigations in case infections are reported in any markets.

People can simply take a photo of the card, save it on the phones and present it to the guards when entering the market.
In addition to the use of thermometer for measuring market-goers’s body temperature staffers on duty at markets’ emtrance gates are equipped with smartphones to scan QR codes displayed on the cards. Market-goers can present the coupons with the codes to guards to enter.
As for scanning the code, if it turns green it means that a successful check-in and people are permitted to enter the market. If it turns red it means that the person went to the market on the wrong day or should go to another market that day. The use of the codes makes managing people entering and leaving markets easier.
For supermarkets and some markets with a small number of people, staffers here will scan the QR codes to confirm medical declarations made by arrivals.
In related news, the Department of Industry and Trade shall assume the prime responsibility for coordinating with relevant medical units to conduct COVID-19 antigen rapid tests on those who are operating at the Hoa Cuong wholesale market. Included are stall holders, labourers and drivers and their assistants on board vehicles entering the market for goods delivery and distribution tasks.
