As per request by the municipal administration, the Department of Industry and Trade has urged the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Electricity Regulatory Authority to approve the next reduction of electricity prices and power bills for certain groups of customers affected by the current COVID-19 wave in the city.
The district-level authorities are actively coordinate with relevant local units in mobilizing local landlords to offer rental discounts or exemptions to both commercial and residential tenants in order to share the difficulties brought about by the coronavirus wave.
Another heed must be paid to allocating goods and necessities funded by the business community and the State budget to all locals nationwide as soon as possible, especially those currently living in rental accommodations.
