Industrial parks in local lockdown areas allowed to operate with strict COVID-19 preventive measures in place

Following fresh approval by the Da Nang People's Committee, all businesses operating in the An Don Industrial Park and Tho Quang Fisheries Service Industrial Zone located in areas under lockdown in Son Tra District to resume operations provided that they must obey some restrictions against COVID-19.

These businesses must absolutely impose a ban on entry made by their employees who now permanently or temporarily in ‘medical self-isolation areas’ in tandem with implementing mandatory safety measures against COVID-19 under the direction of the municipal People's Committee and the Department of Health.

As for the principle of production organization, no more than 50% of the staff are present at the factory for work.

Before the resumption of operation, the businesses’ employees must all test negative for the virus.

In particular, COVID-19 testing must be carried out every 3 days for100% of workers present at the factory and the test results must be reported to the Son Tra District People's Committee and the Authority of the Da Nang Industrial Parks & Industrial Zones for their licenced operations.

In addition, paper-based permits must be granted to employees for their travel from home to the place of work.

Also, a list of means of transporting goods owned by these businesses must be sent to the Authority of the Da Nang Industrial Parks & Industrial Zones for certification.

Employees must get dressed in uniforms so that staff at  COVID-19 checkpoints can easily identify and monitor.
