Non Nuoc Stone Carving Village suspends operations from midday on August 6 due to COVID concerns

The Ngu Hanh Son District authorities have forced all carvers in the Non Nuoc Stone Carving Village located in Hoa Hai Ward to temporarily suspend operations from midday today, August 6 until further notice.

The move came amid growing incidences of the COVID-19 Delta variant and the increased measures recently introduced by the municipal government to stop its spread.

The Hoa Hai Ward authorities will work closely with the Management Board of the Non Nuoc Stone Carving Village and local urban rules inspection unit to enhance monitoring of this place to make sure that all production facilities are obeying the order and have closed.

The Non Nuoc Stone Carving Village will be professionally cleaned and disinfected by healthcare workers from the Ngu Hanh Son District Medical Centre in efforts to reduce the risk of COVID-19. In addition, testing for the presence of SARS-CoV-2 will be conducted for carvers to allow positive cases caught.
