Safe and stable power supply ensured for 924 COVID-19 prevention and control locations in Da Nang
As reported by the Central Power Corporation (EVNCPC), since the beginning of this year, the power distribution system in the Central Viet Nam and Central Highlands regions has provided stable and safe electricity for COVID-19 prevention and control at 924 locations, namely 136 coronavirus treatment hospitals, 8 field hospitals, 180 medical facilities and 600 concentrated quarantine areas in many provinces and cities in the regions.
In light of prolonged heat and complicated developments of the COVID- 19 wave, in order to ensure a safe and stable power supplies for the sake of pandemic prevention and control missions, EVNCPC has applied many appropriate measures, including the application of modern tech tips to repair power lines without cuts in the maintenance and construction of power grid systems.
Particularly, Da Nang Electricity One Member Limited Liability Company under the management of EVNCPC has flexibly used mobile transformers to supply electricity to key customers whilst the company’s staff are performing tasks with long blackouts.
As a result, the time of power failure due to the repair and maintenance work is significantly reduced to only about 30 minutes.
