Strengthening practice of COVID-19 prevention measures at direct selling points; online sales highly recommended

The Da Nang Department of Industry and Trade has released specific regulations on the timely implementation of COVID-19 prevention and control measures at commercial centres, supermarkets, and convenience stores.

Accordingly, all points of sale must implement channelization and instruct customers to keep a minimum distance of 2m from others whilst making purchases, especially at the payment counters,

At the same time, measures should be taken to ensure the sufficient quantity of essential goods on shelves and enhance online sales and orders of goods by phone.

Goods are now plentiful and diverse, totally meeting the consumption needs of the city’s total population, so people should not rush to hoard goods in large quantities and gather in crowds at one certain place for shopping, which will increase the risk of COVID-19 infection.

In particular, the public should not buy one type of goods too many, resulting in immediate decrease and affecting other consumers’ access.
