Following fresh approval from the Da Nang government, certain types of citywide business specialising in IT hardware and software production activities are permited to opertate as normally during the social distancing period in the city. 

Permit for operation is granted to software production enterprises which are involved in  designing, manufacturing and providing software products and services, including the production of packaged, customised and embedded software, software outsourcing activities, the provision of software services, and activities to meet the software product production process such as defining requirements, analysis and design; programming, testing, finishing, packaging, installation, transfer, maintenance, warranty, releasing and  distribution of software.

Regarding the production of IT hardware, enterprises and establishments which specialise in designing, manufacturing, assembling and processing hardware products; providing industrial hardware services and groups of hardware products including computers, network equipment, peripheral devices, audio-visual/household/special-use electronic devices, information - telecommunications, multimedia equipment, spare parts and electronic components.

As for the principle of production organization, no more than 50% of the staff are present at the firms for work.
