The Da Nang People’s Committee has approved the in-principle investment policy decision for 5 projects worth VND 667 billion funded by the Da Nang budget.

The projects are the second phase of the Tan Ninh resettlement area expansion worth VND262.2 billion, a VND81.1 billion resettlement area for families displaced by the Hoa Ninh Industrial Park project, the first phase of a cultural centre combined with children's cultural house to the west of the city at a cost of VND86.4 billion, a housing facility for athletes at the Hoa Xuan Sports Complex at a cost of VND139.3 billion, and the construction of 4-storey Le Thi Hong Gam Junior High School and the 3-storey Hai Duong Kindergarten in Thanh Khe District totallingVND97, 5 billion.

The municipal People's Council has also approved the adjustments to the investment policies for 2 projects- the upgrading of An Trach - Ha Thanh water-raising dam and the technical infrastructure of the resettlement area to the east of workshops No. 38 and No. 387.

An additional 40ha of land will be taken back this year for the development of 9 projects. They are the central resettlement area of Hoa Bac Commune, Hoa Vang District with a total additional acquired land area of 7.8ha; a traffic route connecting DT.601 road and Loc My Village in Hoa Bac Commune with an area of 2.3ha; frontage roads along both sides of a bypass road south of the Hai Van Tunnel, a section from Hoa Lien Commune to Hoang Van Thai Street and another stretching from Hoang Van Thai Street to Tuy Loan (the Hoa Lien, Hoa Son, Hoa Nhon communes in Hoa Vang District) with an area of 16.2ha; a resettlement area serving the second phase of the Ho Chi Minh route with an area of 9.7 ha; a riverside Tien Son - Tuy Loan route in Hoa Vang District with an area of 1ha; a section of DH.409 Road from DT.605 Road in Hoa Tien Commune, Hoa Vang District to Dien Hoa Commune, Dien Ban Town, Quang Nam Province with an area of 1ha; works to expand and improve technical infrastructure connecting the alley K382/H37 Nui Thanh in Hai Chau District with 40m².
