Yen Ne wet market in Hoa Vang District closes due to possible COVID-19 exposure
Yen Ne wet market in Hoa Tien Commune, Hoa Vang District, Da Nang, has temporarily closed after possibly being exposed to a COVID-19 case.
This venue closed at the midday today, August 11 until further notice, the Hoa Tien Commune authorities announced on Wednesday morning.
The local authorities said that this venue will be professionally cleaned for the prevention of COVID-19, and all stall holders will be tested for COVID-19 before this venue reopens. It is a proactive step to ensure the safety of stall holders and patrons amid the complex developments of COVID-19.
The local authorities are urging stallholders and those who have been in close contact with this confirmed case since August 7 to immediately contact their local commune medical station for advice and requirements.
Local police will keep a close watch on this closing market to make sure that all stallholders are following the mandatory closure order of this venue or face strictest penalties for non-compliance.
