Da Nang residents hurry their efforts to prepare for typhoon Conson amid COVID-19

Since the morning of September 10, Da Nang has experienced scattered rain due to the influence of typhoon Conson. Local residents are in a hurry to prepare for the storm while they are in the battle against COVID-19.

Mr. Bui Tan Nguyen, the Director of the Viet Nam Maritime Search and Rescue Coordination Centre for Zone 2 in Da Nang, said that since September 8, there have been no reports of vessels requiring rescue. Rescuers are ready to support fishermen to respond to their request as soon as possible.
