The virtual IPHATCH Innovation Challenge Viet Nam - Singapore contest, whcich is open to Vietnamese startups, was jointly launched on Wednesday by the Da Nang Department of Science and Technology, the national Department of Market Development and S&T Enterprises, the Viet Nam Invention Association and Singapore –based Piece Future.

The contest is the first of its kind to have been held in Viet Nam. Previously, this contest had been held in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Philippines and Hong Kong (China).

The IPHATCH event aims to facilitate startups and S&T enterprises Da Nang-wide to access  international startup programmes and new opportunities in partnerships, cooperation, training, fundraising and investment connection.

Applications must be made at https://www.iphatchday.com/ph-vn no later than December 15, 2021. Le Duc Vien, Director of the Da Nang Department of Science and Technology, said that his agency is looking forward to connecting with national and international startup ecosystems to jointly promote the local innovation startup ecosystem.

At the same time, through the network of Piece Furure company, many investment funds, tech corporations, startup support organisations, experts, startup businesses from Singapore and other foreign countries to boost mutual cooperation, hereby accelerating the city's innovative startup ecosystem in the coming time.
