Mobile food selling points in Da Nang continue on track
Mobile points selling fresh food and essential goods in the Hai Chau, Thanh Khe, Lien Chieu and Cam Le districts, previously run by the municipal Police Department, resumed their operations on Monday, September 6, under the current management of the municipal Department of Industry and Trade. Ms. Le Thi Kim Phuong, Director of the Department of Industry and Trade said that her agency has mobilised the representatives of socio-political forces, including the Viet Nam Fatherland Front and Women’s Union and Youth Union chapters, the authorities of residential groups and volunteers to do shopping and deliver the ordered food to the doorsteps of local families in the 4 aforementioned districts.
Families are recommended to make orders one day in advance, before 3:00pm every day.
The Viet Huong Ceramics Construction JSC has been authorized by the Department of Industry and Trade to run 17 sales points in the Hai Chau, Cam Le and Lien Chieu districts. This company has mobilised a large and diversified source of goods such as meat, fish, eggs, root, tuber and leaf vegetables, rice, instant noodles, pork, chicken and duck meat, seasonings and dried goods for sale.
“We are ensuring the supplies of foodstuff meet the good quality, food safety and hygiene standards, and especially, their prices are lower than those at wet markets and supermarkets”, affirmed Mr Nguyen Trung Truc, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Viet Huong Ceramics Construction JSC said
The resumption of the sales points aims to continue to ensure the sufficient and timely supplies of a wide range of good –quality foods and essential products for all locals who are still subject to the ‘stay-at-home’ mandate in some high-risk areas.
On the first day of the sales, the company received hundreds of orders from residents.
