Phuoc My and Mieu Bong wet markets reopen from Sept. 14 after temporary closures
The Phuoc My Market in the namesake ward, Son Tra District, and Mieu Bong Market in Hoa Phuoc Commune, Hoa Vang District, resumed operations from today, September 14 after temporary closures due to COVID-19.
The move came following the lifting of some COVID-19 restrictions in Da Nang green zones.
Phuoc My will open daily 6:00am to 11am while Mieu Bong will open 4:00am to 12am.
Patrons are allowed to go shopping for food items at the two wet markets every 5 days, and they are only allowed entry into these venues in accordance with permitted dates on their QR code entry cards which will be issued by their local authorities.
Only stalls selling essential goods are reopening in the two wet markets, and stallholders are required to use face masks, face shields, and nylon sheets around their stalls to avoid direct contact with their customers. In addition, they must follow the recommended preventative measures while conducting trading activities.
Stallholders are also required to maintain a safe distance from others in a bid to prevent the spread of the virus. They must sell their products at their displayed prices.
Stallholders will be granted travel permits by their local authorities, and they are only permitted to travel on street within the allowed time frame on their QR code travel permits. They must go directly to their trading venues from home and vice versa.
The two wet markets have separate entry and exit points and will carry out regular deep cleaning and disinfection.
Guards will be deployed to these venues to tighten checks on patrons at entrance gates to measure their body temperature and require them to complete health declaration form.
