Amid the practice of in-force ‘stay-at-home’ mandate, Da Nang police and self-defence forces have exerted their utmost efforts to assist locals in harvesting rice in Hoa Vang District, Da Nang in a timely manner. In green zones which are at a low risk of COVID-19, farmers have taken advantage of the sunny weather to promptly dry the harvested rice crops in the sun.

On September 6, the weather in Da Nang was so bright and sunny. Locals in ‘green zone’ in Hoa Vang District, in a rush, dried the already-harvested rice on yards and along the sides of rural roads. As observed, many inter-village and inter-commune roads were impressively covered with an eye-catching golden colour. Every road was filled with laughter created by hard-working farmers who were overjoyed with the bumper crops.
