Many supermarkets, convenience stores, and manufacturing enterprises across Da Nang have sharply reduced the prices of many essential items by 10 - 30%.

This is also a necessary move made by businesses and distribution systems to help keep prices of goods, in order to relieve financial burdens shouldered by local residents, especially poverty-stricken ones, amid the complicated developments of COVID-19.

Representatives of supermarkets said that September is the peak time for businesses to import new production materials to maintain stable production activities for the fourth quarter of 2021 and the first quarter of 2022.

Currently, the prices of imported and domestic raw materials are increasing sharply. However, till date, supermarkets and convenience store chains have still received stable quotations from manufacturers. As reported, no product item has sharply increased or significantly fluctuated in price.
