In the initial re-operation stage, eligible fishing vessels from Da Nang and other localities currently being anchored at the wharf are permitted to leave here for conducting fishing trips and make comeback for loading and unloading seafood.

Of special note, upon ships’ dockage at the wharf, all crew members onboard are not allowed to leave for ashore. During ships’ operation at sea, the fishermen do not come into contact with those from ships hailing from pandemic-stricken areas and do not make port calls to localities currently suffering the coronavirus outbreak.

Also, they must comply with all rules put in place at the wharf during the anchoring, loading and unloading of goods.

Meanwhile, fishery logistics ships are not permitted to operate at the wharf.

The time of loading and unloading seafood must be from 6:00am to 5:00pm daily. Seafood can only be brought from fishing boats onto vehicles which directly head to local wet markets and distribution points across the city, with the aim of minimising direct interpersonal contact and large gatherings at the wharf.

For seafood that cannot be sold at the Tho Quang seafood wholesale market, merchants must be responsible for working with seafood processing factories for consumption or temporary frozen storage here.

Number of ships loading and unloading aquatic products at the same time is not more than 6 whilst the number of vehicles must not exceed 50 vehicles and must always maintain a prescribed distance amongst them whilst operating.

Seafood retail traders without fixed premises, individual buyers and those selling groceries, food, coffee, refreshments at grocery stores and doing transportation services such as bamboo shoulder poles and delivery tricycles are still banned from operating at this market.
