IPPG cooperates with US partners to implement some projects in Da Nang
The Imex Pan Pacific Group (IPPG) said on Friday that it had just signed investment cooperation agreements with 3 partners from the USA to implement 45 key projects in Viet Nam, including the development of a Southeast Asia regional-level international financial centre (IFC) in Da Nang.
According to IPPG Chairman Johnathan Hanh Nguyen, most notable among the soon-to-be-developed projects in Viet Nam are the development of international and regional-level financial centres in Ho Chi Minh and Da Nang cities.
The renowned entrepreneur added that, the Shearman & Sterling, a British global law firm, in collaboration with some domestic consulting firms have completed the project’s draft and have sent it to national and local departments and agencies for comments before submitting it to the national government for consideration and approval.
The IPPG is speeding up the planning for a non-tariff zone in Da Nang to complete the investment preparation procedures, and then select suitable investors in accordance with the law.
The corporation’s other projects will involve in smart urban areas, resorts, public healthcare facilities, financial centres and non-tariff zones in a bid to ensure the synchronization and completeness of functions during the exploitation and operation process.
IPPG is asking the permission from the Ministry of Transport and the Vietnamese Prime Minister to establish IPP Air Cargo, the country’s first air freight transport, with its headquarters to be positioned in Da Nang.
