Da Nang aims to attract US$3 billion worth of registered investment capital in the 2021 - 2025 period and about US$4 billion in the 2026 - 2030 period.

The proportion of enterprises using advanced technology, modern management, environmental protection, and high technology will have increased by 50% by 2025 and 100% by 2030 as compared to 2018.

The above-mentioned targets were highlighted in the municipal administration-approved plans on promoting investment attraction in Da Nang in the 2021 - 2025 period with a vision towards 2030.

Under the plans, in the coming time, the city will coordinate with national ministries and agencies to accelerate investment in the construction of transport infrastructure in parallel with the implementation of key localprojects.

As for the development of infrastructure and urban areas, many measures will be taken to perfect logistics infrastructure to serve production and business activities.

Notable is the dredging of the turning basin to facilitate ships over 20,000 DWT enter the Tien Sa port in a bid to increase the capacity of the port, contributing to improving the city's competitiveness in investment attraction and infrastructure readiness  to receive capital flows during the post-pandemic time.

Beside, work will start on the construction of inland container depots in Cam Le and Hoa Vang districts in order to organise container transportation in a reasonable manner, increase the efficiency of logistics service activities on transport corridors, and contribute to reducing traffic congestion at seaports and inner city areas.

Fictional forces will complete procedures for the development of shared infrastructure in the first phase of the Lien Chieu Port project.

Another task is to select eligible consultants to make a pre-feasibility study report for the relocation of the city’s railway station out of the city centre.

Also, the city will commence work on the second phase of the expansion of an aircraft apron in the Da Nang International Airport to the north, and upgrade the passenger terminal T1 and building a cargo terminal in this airport.
