In the 2021 - 2025 period, the existing power lines and the public lighting, and cable television and telecommunications systems will go underground along 12 urban streets in Hai Chau District with the total estimated investment capital of over VND 324 billion.

They are the streets of Hung Vuong, Ly Thai To, Le Loi, Phan Chau Trinh, Ong Ich Khiem, Hoang Dieu, Nguyen Chi Thanh, Yen Bai, Thai Phien, Tran Quoc Toan, Pham Hong Thai, Phan Dinh Phung.

Besides, relevant local units must complete the putting of power lines on specialised shopping and pedestrian streets under the guidance of the municipal administration in order to promptly serve urban and economic development.

The 2026 – 2030 period is slated to highlight the underground installation of the existing overhead power lines, public lighting, cable television and telecommunications systems along 15 other streets in Hai Chau District, namely Le Hong Phong, Le Dinh Duong, Hoang Van Thu, Ly Tu Trong, Quang Trung, Phan Boi Chau, Tran Quy Cap, Hai Phong, Dong Da, February 3, Pasteur, Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, Ngo Gia Tu, Trieu Nu Vuong and Trung Nu Vuong at an estimated cost of VND304.9 billion.

For new traffic projects and urban embellishment works, it is necessary to build a standby infrastructure facilities such as technical trenches and cable culverts in preparation for the installation of power lines  lighting, communications cables.
