Disclosure of real estate market information in the third quarter of 2021

The Vietnamese Ministry of Construction has just announced need-to-know information on housing and real estate market in the third quarter of 2021. Notably, Da Nang and other central localities  recorded a total of 31,380 transactions on land plots for residence.

The Ministry of Construction said the basic land price remained unchanged as compared to the second quarter of 2021.

In Da Nang alone, the price of VND84 million /m2 is set for land in the Euro Village project in An Hai Tay Ward, Son Tra District, whilst One River Project in the Phu My An urban area, Hoa Hai Ward, Ngu Hanh Son District with about VND52 million/m2, and an urban area south of the Tuyen Son Bridge, Khue My Ward, Ngu Hanh Son District with about VND43 million/m2.

According to the Ministry of Construction, in the third quarter of 2021, the total number of successful real estate transactions in terms of apartments and independent houses reached 11,615 across the country, of which 2,792 were documented in Da Nang and other central regional localities.

For the transactions of residential land plots, there were107,167 successful transactions nationwide, of which 31,380 were logged in Da Nang and other central localities.

In particular, the price of apartment units applied in big cities, including Da Nang, in the third quarter of 2021 decreased by about 2 - 4% as compared to the second quarter of 2021.

According to the review by the Ministry of Construction, since the beginning of October 2021,many big cities and provinces across the country have been able to control the COVID-19 surge, which prompted the real estate liquidity to increase again, leading to the market price increase.

The demand increased slightly due to the limited supplies, while the demand for residential land and housing remained high. In addition, amid the fact that their capital flows have not been transferred to production and consumption channels, so many investors plan to pour their money into real estate.
