Issuing intellectual property certificates granted for 5 Hoa Vang District-developed products
The Da Nang Department of Science and Technology on Wednesday announced the approval of trademark registrations and certificates issued by the National Office of Intellectual Property under the Vietnamese Ministry of Science and Technology for five products developed in Hoa Vang District.
They are Hoa Ninh green skin pomelo, Hoa Bac ‘che day’ (Ampelopsis cantoniensis), Quang Chau dried sesame seed cake, Tuy Loan’ banh trang’ (rice paper) and Hoa Nhon ‘kieu huong’ (pickled scallion heads)
According to the municipal Department of Science and Technology, as of October 31, certificates of intellectual property rights had been granted to 3,969 trademarks, 54 inventions and 119 industrial designs.
In participial, a total of 27 OCOP (One Commune – One Product), typical rural industrial and commercial products have registered for the protection of industrial property rights.
In the coming time, focus will be on developing a synchronous and effective intellectual property system at all stages of effective and adequate creation, utilisation, protection, and enforcement of intellectual property rights towards building an intellectual property development programme by 2030.
