An online workshop, having ‘Rise of real estate markets in Da Nang and Quang Nam Province in a new normal’ as its theme, took place on November 3 in Ha Noi and Da Nang.

Institutional reform-related solutions to make real estate markets in the two localities more transparent and competitive were put in the spotlight at online event.

Mr. Nguyen Manh Khoi, Deputy Director of the Department of Housing Management and Real Estate Market under the Ministry of Construction, said that, over the past times, many decisions for the major future developments for Da Nang have been issued.

Included have been the Politburo-adopted Resolution No 43-NQ/TW dated January 24, 2019 regarding Da Nang’s major developments to 2030 with a vision to 2045, and the National Assembly's Resolution No 119/2020 / QH14 dated 19 June 2020 on the pilot organisation of the urban government model in Da Nang. This is the basis for Da Nang to map out strategies to develop, including its housing development programmes.

Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Thuy Linh, General Director of the Sun Property Group under Sun Group, said that her group always considers Da Nang as the cradle for development. Therefore, her group planned to promote the development of high-end real estate and real estate associated with tourism and resort next year.

It is expected that real estate markets in Da Nang and Quang Nam Province will see positive signs for recovery following the economic reopening after a long time of sliding into a deep freeze.
