14 additional OCOP products evaluated and classified

The evaluation and classification of an additional 14 Da Nang-developed products under the city-launched ‘One Commune-One Product (OCOP)’ programme took place in the city on Tuesday.

In detail, six products were assessed and proposed for their recognition by the municipal administration as 4-star ones under the so-called OCOP model. They were Huong Que shoe insoles of Huong Que Import-Export Production Processing Co., Ltd in residential group No. 11, Da Son Block, Hoa Khanh Nam Ward, Hoa Khanh Nam Province, Lien Chieu District, fruit and vegetables grown by the Tuy Loan Safe Vegetable Production and Consumption Cooperative in Hoa Phong Commune, Hoa Vang District, leafy vegetables and cantaloupe produced by the AFARM High-tech Agriculture Joint Stock Company at 101 Dien Bien Phu, Chinh Gian Ward, Thanh Khe District, the Hoa Ninh pomelo by the Hoa Vang Fruit and Vegetables Cooperative in Trung Nghia Village, Hoa Ninh Commune, Hoa Vang District, and the ‘cu kieu’ (pickled scallion heads) pickled with fish sauce by Ms Nguyen Thi Bong's family-run establishment in residential group No. 7, Thach Nham Tay Village, Hoa Nhon Commune, Hoa Vang District.

Meanwhile, the others were evaluated and proposed for recognition as OCOP 3-star products. They were ‘lap xuong’, or dry-cured sausage by the Min Kai facility at K07/6 Quang Trung, Hai Chau 1 Ward, Hai Chau District, Ms Kim ‘cha bo’ (beef paste) by the namesake facility at K129/70 Tieu La, Hoa Cuong Bac Ward, Hai Chau District), Ms Nam ‘tre’ (a kind of fermented pork) by the Le Sau facility at K5/25 Nam Cao, Hoa Khanh Nam Ward, Lien Chieu District, Yen Tien ‘cha bo’ by the namesake facility in An Ngai Tay 2 Village, Hoa Son Commune, Hoa Vang District, ready-to-consume seaweed by the Dai Duong seaweed production and trading establishment at 173 Tran Kim Xuyen, Hoa Xuan Ward, Cam Le District, dried squid by the Hang Hue facility at 145 Ky Dong, Thanh Khe Dong Ward, Thanh Khe District) and dried cordyceps DR. Trung by the Vinseed Biotechnology Co., Ltd at 258-260 Le Quang Chi Street, Hoa Xuan Ward, Cam Le District.

In the coming time, the Da Nang OCOP Product Classification and Evaluation Council will continue to evaluate and classify more OCOP products in the city.
