Da Nang converts 62ha of forest land into land for project development
Following recent approval by the Da Nang People’s Council, a total of 620,140m2 of production forest land (more than 62ha) in the city will be converted into land for the development for three projects in the city.
In detail, 60,900m2 of forest land in Hoa Phu Commune, Hoa Vang District will be converted into land for the construction of a resettlement area for those displaced by the Western Ring Road project.
Meanwhile, 439,040m2 of forest land in Hoa Ninh Commune, Hoa Vang District will be used for the construction of a shooting and training range associated with the Phase 1 of the local evacuation area.
In addition, 120,200m2 of forest land in Hoa Bac Commune, Hoa Vang District will be earmarked to construct the Nam My Dam as an auxiliary work of the ongoing Hoa Lien water plant project.
